Strategic Expansion: Erik Sterck GmbH Expands Technology Portfolio with Arista and Fortinet

Leonberg/Utrecht, 2nd September 2026 – Erik Sterck GmbH is expanding its technology portfolio for hybrid data center environments by adding Arista and Fortinet as new partners. This move further strengthens the IT systems integrator’s expertise in network infrastructure and cybersecurity.

“We are delighted to welcome Arista and Fortinet as two strong new partners to our portfolio,” says Tobias Engmann, Technical Director at Erik Sterck GmbH. “For us, this is an important strategic step that enables us to offer our customers powerful and secure solutions from a single source for their increasingly hybrid IT environments.”

A Strategic Milestone

As part of the TTNL Group, Erik Sterck GmbH stands for a “Made in Europe” data center offering. Its cloud platform, hosted entirely in Germany and the Netherlands, provides European businesses with an alternative for running their data and workloads, creating an infrastructure designed to deliver greater independence, security, and control.

As Erik Sterck continues to expand its own cloud offering, another strategic area is becoming increasingly important: connectivity across hybrid IT environments.

“For our customers, it is becoming increasingly critical to connect different infrastructures while ensuring that they can be operated securely,” says Engmann.

By adding Arista and Fortinet, Erik Sterck is addressing precisely these requirements. Arista complements the portfolio with high-performance networking technologies for modern data center and cloud environments, while Fortinet provides the security technologies needed to protect them.

Network Infrastructure for Modern Data Centers

Arista Networks is a global provider of networking solutions for modern data center and cloud environments. Its portfolio includes switches and software designed to support high-performance, scalable, and highly automated network infrastructures.

Arista’s solutions are designed to connect and efficiently operate large, distributed IT environments with a high degree of flexibility. In hybrid data center scenarios, network infrastructure is a critical component: data, applications, and workloads need to be transferred reliably between different locations and platforms. Arista provides the technological foundation for this connectivity.

Security for Connected Infrastructures

Fortinet also strengthens the cybersecurity capabilities of Erik Sterck’s portfolio. In hybrid and distributed IT environments, securing individual locations in isolation is no longer sufficient. Connections between data centers, cloud environments, and corporate sites need to be protected and controlled just as effectively as the systems and applications running across them.

Fortinet’s security technologies enable networking and security functions to be integrated, supporting a unified approach to protecting hybrid infrastructures.

“We are seeing a clear trend toward distributed and hybrid IT environments,” says Tobias Engmann. “That is why we are consistently expanding our expertise in line with our customers’ requirements. By partnering with Arista and Fortinet, we are specifically strengthening our capabilities in these areas. Both vendors complement our existing portfolio and enable us to deliver more comprehensive solutions.”
