Leonberg/Munich, September 18, 2025 – Leonberg-based system integrator Erik Sterck GmbH will be adding CyberDesk's solution to its product portfolio. The Munich-based startup focuses on identity-centric data security and helps companies minimize risks from DORA, NIS2, etc.
Over-provisioning of access rights is commonplace in most companies: on average, less than 5% of access permissions are actively used by human and non-human identities. In addition, there is rarely transparency about which identities have which permissions.
“This situation represents an enormous security gap that is almost impossible to solve using conventional means,” explains Dr. Tobias Lieberum, co-founder and managing director of CyberDesk GmbH. That's why he and his fellow founder Prabhakar Mishra have developed an AI-powered access management solution that provides a transparent overview of the authorization landscape, highlights risks, and actively monitors all access attempts.
"We always strive to present our customers with innovative and practical solutions that offer real added value. We are absolutely convinced of CyberDesk's capabilities and are delighted to be adding the provider to our portfolio in the future," says Erik Sterck, CEO of Erik Sterck GmbH. The partnership is another building block in Erik Sterck GmbH's strategy of establishing its own AI unit and consolidating targeted solutions based on artificial intelligence.
About CyberDesk GmbH
CyberDesk is the European platform for identity-centric data security. Today, more than 95% of data access rights are not used. To minimize this vulnerability, CyberDesk helps adaptively control who can access which sensitive data and how. For human and non-human identities, the authorization software visualizes, controls, and automates granular permissions where existing solutions are blind.
Leading international organizations are choosing CyberDesk to prepare their hybrid multi-cloud environments for the AI era and minimize liability risks from regulations such as DORA and NIS2. CyberDesk is based in Munich.
