10th company anniversary: Erik Sterck GmbH with a new brand identity
Leonberg, 5 March 2024 - Leonberg-based Erik Sterck GmbH celebrated its 10th anniversary in February. The system house with branches in Cologne and Munich advises its customers with a focus on data centres, cloud-native services and cybersecurity. Just in time for the anniversary, the company is launching a new web and corporate design.
Erik Sterck, co-founder and Managing Director of Erik Sterck GmbH, recognises a rapidly growing need in the area of cybersecurity in particular, both in terms of education and specific solutions: "The topic of cybersecurity is as old as IT, but the issue has become enormously topical - partly due to the coronavirus pandemic and the geopolitical events of recent years. It was not always a matter of course to consider the security aspect in all IT projects."
Oliver Batz and Erik Sterck founded Erik Sterck GmbH as a two-man business in Tiefenbronn in 2014 with data centre infrastructures, servers and storage as their original core areas of expertise. After building up a broad portfolio and growing rapidly, they moved to larger offices in Leonberg in 2017. Two years later, Erik Sterck GmbH opened its first branch in Munich in 2019, followed by a third location in Cologne in 2023. "We are very proud of our organic and steady growth over the past decade and, of course, especially of our two locations in Germany," says Erik Sterck. His co-founder Oliver Batz adds: "In the industry, we are now only known as 'The Stercks'. We are particularly pleased about this, as it emphasises the highest value that our company has: our committed and competent employees. They are what make the company what it is today and our development would not have been possible without them."
The system house is launching its new brand and website to coincide with the company's anniversary. This step has multiple meanings for Erik Sterck: "Our 10th birthday is a welcome occasion to give our brand a new face. The new look also heralds the phase in which our company leaves the youth stage and we set a new strategic course for the further development of our business."
